Bo Bunny Snowfall Layout

This layout has quickly become one of my favorites. I LOVE Bo Bunny's snowfall collection and I'm still kicking myself for not buying the paper pack when it came out.

These colors work great for photos of Emmett, and of course I just happen to have some snow photos of my pup!

I used a sketch for this layout (not one of mine). I love using so many of the patterns from one collection on each layout.

Jolee's Boutique - Parcel Collection
I kept the Embellishments pretty simple on this layout also. I'm finding more and more that I like it simple.

This Layout is also inked in Brushed Cordory, it seems to my favorite at the moment.

Tip of the day: If you have a sticker that you want to pop dot brush baby powder on the back of the sticker, brush off excess and use pop dots to make it stand out... if you don't us the baby powder when you put the layout in a book the sticker will get pushed down to the paper and stick so it will end up flat anyway.

I'm going to see if I can't find a little time this weekend to get a new sketch together and sample. I'm also hoping to add some more vinyl stickers to my Etsy store. Here's hoping I have enough time for everything!

Scrapbook Sketch #2 for 2012

I'm so happy to bring you Sketch number 2!!!!

This week I'm introducing "Inking". You will notice that anything "cut" has been inked. I use Distress inks from Tim Holtz. I use the blending tool with the foam but you can use ink pad alone. It adds dimension and is great!

The key to inking is using it all the way or not at all.

Sketch Sample
For this sample..

3 Bugs in a Rug - Dawson

Background: Rawr (daw-834)

Pattern 2: dino party (daw-826)
reverse side of Pat 2 is the brown

Pattern 3: dino patch (daw-831)

The photo mats are from color packs that I had  a dark shimmery blue and a light blue. The main image has the white in the middle.

Distress Ink used : Broken China (I think Chipped Sapphire or Stormy Skye would have been great choices too... I'll have to pick them up)

Notice that there are two extra 2" circles... I ended up cutting a couple extra so I flipped them over and used them.
The Title is white sticker letters framed.
